YY's AI model has been carefully tuned for low hallucination, and every suggestion is grounded in cited mechanism + ingredient data. But AI isn't a doctor — see a dermatologist for any serious or persistent condition.
Razor burn, ingrown hairs, or beard-zone breakouts — can AI help?
Yes. The analysis flags the beard zone specifically — separating regular acne from shaving-induced folliculitis or ingrown hairs — and the routine adds pre/post-shave steps tuned to your skin. For severe recurring ingrown hairs or infection, see a dermatologist.
Is the free tier enough? When should I pay?
Free tier is taste-only: 1 skin analysis + 5 ingredient checks per month, no routine generation. Pick Plus ($4.99/mo — 5 analyses + 6 routines + 150 chats) for everyday use, or Pro ($14.99/mo — 30 analyses + 30 routines + 800 chats) for serious skincare research and history archiving.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Cancel any time. Plus / Pro turn off auto-renew with one click in the Stripe portal; the current period stays active. Unused purchases within 7 days are fully refundable; partial-month refunds aren't given by default (see Terms).
Does it work outside the US?
Yes, globally. Accounts + data are hosted on AWS (US), no VPN needed from anywhere. Subscription is billed in USD; most international credit cards + Apple Pay work directly. A WeChat mini-program version is in development.
