Service description

YY skin is an AI skincare assistant offering skin analysis, ingredient lookup, routine generation, AI chat, and a community. Everything we provide is for educational reference only and is not medical advice. For serious or persistent skin issues, see a doctor.

Account responsibility

Sign up with a real email. Your account is for your personal use — don't share it. You must be at least 13 years old. You're responsible for keeping your password secure; we're not liable for misuse of compromised credentials.

Acceptable use

• No spam or harassment.
• No scraping our APIs or content in bulk.
• No reverse-engineering our AI prompts or model behavior.
• No medical misinformation in community posts.
• No attempts to bypass rate limits, quotas, or paywalls.

Subscriptions

Plus / Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel any time and keep access for the rest of the current period. We don't refund partial months by default, but a refund is available within the first 7 days if unused.

Promo codes

Each promo code is good for one redemption per user. Codes are non-transferable and have no cash value. We may void codes in cases of abuse or fraud.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — especially community posts with dangerous medical claims, or fraudulent behavior. We may also decline service at our discretion, though we'll usually reach out first.

Not medical advice

Important: everything YY skin produces is for educational reference. AI gets things wrong. If you have persistent redness, pus, an unexplained rash, or anything clearly getting worse — see a dermatologist instead of relying on the AI.

AI processing & third-party data sharing

Our AI features are powered by Anthropic (Claude API, United States), a third-party AI provider. When you use Skin Analysis, the face photo you upload — and for other features, the text you submit — is sent to Anthropic to generate your result. By choosing to upload a photo or submit content, you consent to this processing; in the app we also ask for your explicit consent before your first face-photo upload. We use the photo only to assess visible skin condition — we do not perform facial recognition or biometric identification, and neither we nor Anthropic use your photos or submissions to train AI models. Photos and results are stored in our AWS storage (S3, US East) linked to your account so you can review your skin history, and are deleted when you delete your account. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YY skin and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. If something goes wrong, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

Affiliate links and third-party products

YY skin is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Product links on our Find Products and Routine pages may include our affiliate tag (ai4skincare-20); qualifying purchases earn us a small commission at no extra cost to you. We do not sell, ship, or service any of the products shown — Amazon (or the listed seller) is solely responsible for fulfillment, returns, warranties, and any product-related issues. Product availability, pricing, and ingredient lists shown on third-party sites may differ from what we display; verify on the merchant's page before purchasing.

Governing law

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. We'll email you before any material change; continued use means you accept the updated terms.
